岐阜県出身、'11 年春ソロデビュー。
数々の人気アニメ作品の主題歌を担当し、圧倒的な熱量を持つライブパフォーマンスを武器に、国内のみならず世界中にてヒットを記録。
昨年春に配信開始したTVアニメ「鬼滅の刃」OPテーマ「紅蓮華」で平成最後・令和最初の週間デジタルシングル首位を獲得、年末には「第70回NHK紅白歌合戦」への初出場を果たす。
‘20年秋、アルバム「LEO-NiNE」と、『劇場版「鬼滅の刃」無限列車編』主題歌シングル「炎」を同時リリースし、アルバム、シングルランキングで“W1位”を獲得、年末には2年連続となる「第71回NHK紅白歌合戦」への出場が決定。
アニソンシーンにとどまらず、数多くのロックフェスでも活躍するアーティストとして、その存在感を示している。

LiSA made her solo debut in spring 2011.
She sang numerous theme songs for anime and made big hits not only in Japan but also around the world.
In 2019 she sang Gurenge as the opening theme song of anime series Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- (broadcasted in April 2019), which original manga reached over 80 million copies of total sales. With Gurenge hitting big, she made her first appearance in the 70th NHK Kōhaku Uta Gassen on New Year’s Eve 2019, which is what every Japanese singer dream to do.
In October 2020 she released her 5th album LEO-NiNE and 17th single homura.
The releases ranked 1st in Oricon Daily Album Chart, Oricon Daily Single Chart, iTunes General Album Chart and iTunes General Single Chart. homura, the theme song of the anime film Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Movie: Mugen Train, ranked 7th in Apple Music “Top 100: Global” which is the highest record ever as a Japanese artist, 8th in Billboard Global 200, 2nd in Billboard Global Excl. U.S., and numerous charts in Japan and all around the world!
With her continuing hitting, she nominated on 71th NHK Kōhaku Uta Gassen 2 years in a low.
